केंद्रीय मंत्री ने 4 October को दिल की सर्जरी करवाई थी।

श्री पासवान, जो पांच दशकों से अधिक समय से सक्रिय राजनीति में हैं और देश के सबसे प्रसिद्ध दलित नेताओं में से एक थे, पिछले कुछ हफ्तों से अस्पताल में भर्ती थे।
